Important Meeting for Infrastructure Projects in Puerto Madryn

During a meeting in Buenos Aires, the Governor of Chubut, Ignacio «Nacho» Torres, and the Mayor of Puerto Madryn, Gustavo Sastre, discussed key infrastructure projects with the administrator of the National Water and Sanitation Works Entity (ENOHSA), Bartolomé Heredia. The goal of the meeting was to advance in the reactivation of a series of important works for the port city.

Scope of the Projects

After the meeting, Governor Torres explained the scope of the projects, which had been halted during the change of national authorities. He stated, It involves the construction of the Aqueduct that will cover three sections, from the Chubut River to the Drinking Water Plant and continuing to Puerto Madryn, and, in a second stage, the construction of the Southern Treatment Plant, which will enable the operation of sewage services in the southern area of the town.

Additionally, the Chubut governor explained that once the administrative deadlines of ENOHSA are met, the idea is that we can take charge of the completion of these works through debt offset, as we are also doing with National Route 3 in the section between Puerto Madryn and Trelew.

It is essential that we continue advancing along this path of reducing our debt by carrying out works that are intended to improve the quality of life of each of the residents of our province, concluded Governor Torres.
